All galleries now posted - over 8000 photos in all!!!
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND:
It is impossible for us to provide a 'search by number' facility, as much as we'd like to, for two reasons:
Firstly, more often than not the number on the competitor won't be visible (for some reason in triathlons the number appears on the back of the competitor, out of sight of the camera!), or it'll be too small in the photo as to be legible, therefore no software can read it.
Secondly, 'search by number' is only available through extremely smart and expensive software linked in with the right technology system which, as state-of-the-art as we are with our camera equipment and processing software, it's just not worth our while investing in a system that, even then, is never perfect. So there's a reason why the facility is usually only available at the biggest events in the country. However we've hopefully made it fairly straightforward for you by steering you in more or less the right direction towards your photos by our gallery names, categories and chronological labelling.
Please also note that where it's possible to differentiate a gallery by categorizing it (e.g. full, sprint, first wave, second wave) there could still be a crossover of a few files, as, for example, a number of the second wave swimmers may have caught up with the last of the first wave). So if you can't find yourself in one gallery, check the ones next to it just in case.
For those of you wondering why we email digital files to you and don't adopt a 'download' policy, the reason is simple: we want you to have the best quality file there is with the optimum color balance and exposure in relation to the data the camera captured (we can't always control the light and other issues so not all images are at their best in the galleries). To apply that quality to the literally thousands of photos taken at an event is impractical time-wise and economically. But what we ARE able to do is to optimize every file that's bought by a customer before emailing to you. A simple solution!
